In the early morning light, a lone, empty boat sits in the Hetch Hetchy reservoir in Yosemite National Park. Hetch Hetchy is the name of a valley, a reservoir and a water system which currently serves as the primary water source for the City and County of San Francisco and several surrounding municipalities in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. The glacial Hetch Hetchy Valley lies in the northwestern part of Yosemite National Park and is drained by the Tuolumne River. This image is tinted yellow and the focus is soft.
